The Open University in Wales | Y Brifysgol Agored yng Nghymru

The Open University is the largest provider of part-time undergraduate higher education in Wales. It is a world leader in providing innovative and flexible distance learning opportunities at higher education level, including undergraduate, postgraduate and access courses.  

More than 15,500 students from virtually every community in Wales are currently studying with The Open University, and more than two thirds are in employment while they study. The OU works with businesses, charities and public bodies in Wales to help them develop their staff, and encourage more people into lifelong learning, regardless of their background.  

Y Brifysgol Agored yw'r darparwr addysg uwch rhan amser mwyaf yng Nghymru. Mae ar flaen y gad o ran darparu cyfleoedd dysgu o bell arloesol a hyblyg ar lefel addysg uwch gan gynnwys cyrsiau israddedig, ôl-raddedig a mynediad.  

Mae dros 15,500 o fyfyrwyr o bron bob rhan o Gymru yn astudio â'r Brifysgol Agored ar hyn o bryd, ac mae mwy na dwy ran o dair ohonynt mewn cyflogaeth wrth iddynt astudio. Mae'r Brifysgol Agored yn gweithio gyda busnesau, elusennau a chyrff cyhoeddus yng Nghymru i'w helpu i ddatblygu eu staff, ac annog mwy o bobl i ddysgu gydol oes, ni waeth beth fo'u cefndir.
