This course covers everything from forest bathing, the differences between conifer and broadleaf trees, the symbolic role of trees play in different religions to the history of trees in Wales, and much more! ‘Branch out’ and ‘leaf’ let us take you on a guided tour through the 6 Areas of Learning and Experience.
Outcomes
• Increased understanding of how the natural environment supports health and wellbeing
• Increased knowledge of how to use the outdoors as a health and well-being intervention.
• Increased confidence in how to deliver the Curriculum for Wales 6 AoLE’s through nature connectedness.
Please note this course will be presented through the medium of Welsh on Microsoft Teams, and will be led by Education, Learning & Skills staff from Natural Resources Wales.
