Rydym yn rhedeg darpariaeth ddeinamig wedi'i harwain gan dîm profiadol sy'n darparu ystod o gyfleoedd dysgu dwyieithog arloesol, o ansawdd uchel. Ni'n gweithio gyda corff amrywiol o ddysgwyr ar draws y sectorau cyhoeddus, y trydydd sector a'r sector preifat.
Mae ein gweithgareddau'n cynnwys cynnig llwybrau BA ac MA mewn Ymarfer Proffesiynol a Hyfforddi a Mentora yn ogystal â chyfleoedd byrrach a heb eu hachredu. Rydym hefyd yn achredu rhaglenni hyfforddi mewnol ac yn rhedeg y Gymdeithas Hyfforddi sy'n cynnal seminarau hyfforddi bob deufis a chynhadledd flynyddol.
The conference theme is, ‘Coaching today for a better tomorrow - flourishing communities and organisations’. Delegates on the 28th November will be able to hear keynotes from acclaimed experts on coaching and mentoring in organisations Lis Merrick and Dr Annette Fillery-Travis researcher and author, as well as contributions from internationally recognised practitioners such as coach supervisor Dr Alison Hodge, and our own inimitable Dr Peggy Marshall!
To read more about our speakers and to see the conference programme order visit our website https://www.uwtsd.ac.uk/wappar/coachingconference/
But you also wanted real life coaching and supervision so we are holding an optional half day masterclass on the 27th November with our very own Professor of Practice here at WIWBL, Prof Stephen Palmer. Stephen will present a skills-based workshop on Imagery Techniques for use within Coaching Practice. As well as helping to reduce stress, using imagery techniques can help coachees or clients to improve goal-focus, increase motivation and enhance self-efficacy and confidence. This promises to be a very enlightening workshop! *Note Masterclass tickets will need to be purchased in addition to the conference ticket. The Wales Academy for Professional Practice and Applied Research (WAPPAR) has a strong background in developing the professional practice of coaches and mentors in the workplace and it is home of the WAPPAR Coaching Society; a cross-Wales hub for coaching research and practice development . We have enjoyed expert seminars throughout the last year and we are delighted to extend an invitation to all who share our passion for coaching and mentoring, whether you are buyers, practitioners, Masters/Doctoral researchers and our alumni. At this our annual conference we ask senior practitioners and researchers in the field to contribute to parallel sessions around the themes of flourishing individuals and communities. The sessions will include workshops and performance/practice demonstrations as well as the more formal research presentations.
Would you like to spark discussion and interest in your specialised area of coaching and/or mentoring? Or share your passion for a particular area of work or research? If so, we would be delighted to accept submissions for our poster competition. Please submit an abstract through our webpage by the 5th November 2019.
