Interpretation instructions for Zoom.

  • Simultaneous interpretation is only needed if you cannot speak Welsh.
  • The simultaneous interpretation feature will work on PCs, laptops, tablets and smart phones. Unfortunately, the feature won’t work on a Chromebook.
  • You must use the Zoom app. If you don’t already have the Zoom app on your computer or device, you will need to download it. The simultaneous interpretation feature only works through the app – it does not work when using Zoom in the browser. It is a good idea to download the app beforehand to ensure it works ahead of the event.
  • It is also a good idea to check your local sound settings before joining the meeting.
