Join the Education Workforce Council’s next policy briefing on 21 October 2021, where we will explore the findings of the National education workforce survey for Wales conducted earlier this year.

During the event, we’ll share with you findings from the survey, which we conducted in partnership with the Welsh Government, trade unions and other key partners. We’ll look at the things that matter most to our registrants across all sectors (schools, further education, work based learning and youth work) including workload, well-being, professional learning, and the impact of COVID-19.

The virtual event will bring together policy makers, researchers, other education stakeholders and practitioners from across our seven registrant groups to:

  • discuss emerging themes and trends revealed by the findings
  • discuss the potential implications of our findings on policy makers
  • have their burning questions answered by our panel of national experts.

The session will guide the development of policy in Wales as the education sector begins its journey to recovery from the pandemic and continues with the implementation of major reforms.

The full results of the survey will be published on 7 October 2021.

We are expecting high demand for this policy briefing, so we recommend you register early to avoid disappointment.
