North Wales Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales are hosting a first-of-its kind free event for business owners in North Wales on how to keep their businesses safe from cybercrime.

Cyber security is a growing concern for businesses and is a daunting topic for many. With this in mind, Cyber Security North Wales will bring together key voices and organisations to discuss simple steps that every business can take to protect themselves online, and we would like you to join us on the day.

This free all-day event will take place on June 14 at Wrexham Glyndwr University, and will feature contributions from speakers and organisations including:

  • Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales, Andy Dunbobbin
  • National Cyber Security Centre – The UK Government organisation that provides advice and support for the public and private sector in how to avoid computer security threats.
  • Welsh Government’s Cyber Resilience Team
  • North-West Regional Organised Crime Unit
  • Cyber Crime Team North Wales Police 
  • Cyber Wales
  • Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales
  • Police Cyber Alarm
  • Get Safe Online

As well as keynote talks, the event will also feature an exhibition area and afternoon interactive workshops to enable delegates to keep their business operations secure from cybercrime.

Audience: Small and medium sized Business owners from across North Wales
