The Education Workforce Council, in partnership with the Open University in Wales, will hold its third 'Professionally Speaking' event on Monday, 22 October 2018 at the Reardon Smith Theatre at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.

We have invited naturalist and TV presenter Iolo Williams, and Sue Williams, Senior Education Adviser at Natural Resources Wales to discuss the role of nature and the outdoors in modern Welsh education and associated wellbeing and health benefits.

Iolo is a familiar face to Welsh audiences, having presented several popular series in Welsh and English on BBC Wales and S4C, including his latest series, 'Iolo's Snowdonia'.

Sue Williams is the Senior Education Adviser at NRW, which runs the Outdoor Learning Wales programme.

The audience will also get the opportunity to put their questions to the speakers during a question and answer session following their presentations.

The evening will be presented by BBC Wales political correspondent Catrin Haf Jones.

Doors will open at 18:30 for registration and refreshments with proceedings commencing at 19:00. Tickets are free and available from our Tocyn page on a first-come, first-served basis.
