Helen’s doctoral thesis examined the Manager as Coach: An Exploratory Study into the Experience of Managers Dealing with Team Challenge.

Helen has held a variety of Senior Management positions in the healthcare and education sectors for more than twenty years and has worked as coach in organisations across a variety of sectors from biotechnology to education.

Helen enjoys the variety of working with clients from different fields exploring many similarities and opportunities to share best practice. Helen’s approach is driven and practical to enable individuals to achieve their goals.

As voted for by the Coaching Society Members the topic Helen will expertly guide you through is:

‘Using the nine-box grid method in Coaching and Leadership’

Using the nine-box grid is a usual HR assessment tool, in this seminar you will learn to build on the elements of the nine boxes and track the conversations the manager or coach may then have to assist the development of the individual. There will be two ‘take-aways’ from this seminar. How to use the nine-box grid in an innovative and collaborative fashion and learning a new structure of underpinning conversations to support development.
