The aim of this 3-hour session is to share information around correct procedures for the reporting & recording of all incidents within the service. Examples may include health and safety, behaviour and boundaries, medication and clinical governance, deaths in treatment and non-fatal reports (overdose).

It is required for all staff to attend one of the dates available

·Identify incidents that need to be reported

·Understand the correct procedure for the reporting & recording of an incident

·Understand & contribute to feedback across CAVDAS & wider learning pathways to ensure best practice is shared and excellence is recognised.

CAVDAS is a specialist substance use service within the Cardiff and Vale area, supporting people across all ages, regardless of where they are in their journey.

The first of its kind in Wales, CAVDAS is an alliance between Barod, Recovery Cymru and Kaleidoscope, with strategic partners G4S, Pobl & the Area Planning Board.
