Thank you for supporting Spring Clean Cymru 2021!

You will understand that our first priority remains the safety of everybody involved in the event, and so you will notice some marked changes to this year’s activity from our usual clean-up campaigns.  Please read the information below to ensure that you are happy to participate under these revised requirements.

All participants must register for a ticket through this site.  If you do not have a ticket on the day you will not be allowed to take part in the event.Tickets will be limited to 15 per event, including the Keep Wales Tidy event co-ordinator.

You’ll notice that we’ve added a what3words address to the event information. This will help you find the exact meeting point for the clean-up. Just go to www.what3words.com and enter the unique three-word combination. 

In registering for a ticket for a Spring Clean Cymru event, you are agreeing to follow Keep Wales Tidy’s health and safety guidelines; to follow Welsh Government 2m social distance guidelines and conform to Keep Wales Tidy’s hygiene requirements.

To comply with coronavirus guidance from Welsh Government all attendees must supply current contact details in line with NHS Track and Trace programme.  Keep Wales Tidy will keep these details for 21 days after the end of Spring Clean Cymru on 13 June 2021 in line with our published Privacy Policy.

You must notify Keep Wales Tidy project officer Andy King if you have any underlying health problems that may affect your involvement in the activity.

Please DO NOT attend the clean-up if you:

  • Are feeling unwell in any way on the day
  • Are in a period of self-isolation
  • Have developed any of the following symptoms in the previous seven days:
    • A high temperature
    • A new, continuous cough
    • Loss of, or change to, your sense of taste and/or smell

You must notify Keep Wales Tidy if any of the following situations arise in the 14 days following a clean-up that you have attended: 

  • you receive a positive test for COVID-19
  • you develop any of the symptoms listed above
  • you have to go into a period of self-isolation because either yourself or members of your household have developed symptoms and/or had a positive test for COVID-19

Caru Cymru (a Welsh phrase meaning ‘Love Wales’) is an inclusive movement led by Keep Wales Tidy and local authority partners to eradicate litter and waste. Its aim is to inspire the people of Wales to take action and care for our environment, building stronger, healthier communities and making a positive difference to our planet.
